Gardens for Youth: A Place for Discovery, Sharing, and Experience

Les Jardins des Jeunes in Geneva is a place for people to meet, explore, and learn about gardening, agriculture, and nature. Our project gives young people the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with the soil, develop new skills, and participate in the life of a community garden.

Through our various activities, everyone can find a way to get involved that suits their interests: try their hand at gardening, participate in a workshop or a WOOFing experience, help out with garden activities, or discover and purchase the produce grown on-site.

These various opportunities allow everyone to find a way to get involved in the project, learn by doing, and build connections in a friendly setting close to nature.

HOW IT WORKS

Les Jardins des Jeunes welcomes young people in Geneva and the surrounding region to participate in hands-on activities related to gardening, organic vegetable farming, and working the land. Everyone can get involved in the garden as they wish, discover different crops, and learn through hands-on experience in a supportive environment close to nature.

By joining the Jardins des Jeunes, you can tend a garden plot, participate in community projects, and develop your skills while meeting other young people. It’s a hands-on way to learn about organic gardening, biodiversity, and local agriculture.

Find out how the Jardins des Jeunes work and how you can be part of the adventure.

INTERNSHIPS & WOOFING

Internships and WOOFing at Les Jardins des Jeunes offer a hands-on introduction to gardening, organic vegetable farming, and how a farm operates. Throughout the seasons, you’ll help with garden work, planting, harvesting, and maintaining the cultivated areas.

These experiences offer the opportunity to learn new skills, gain a better understanding of organic farming, and get hands-on experience working with the land. Whether you’re looking for an internship or a WOOFing experience in Geneva, Les Jardins des Jeunes offers a warm, friendly environment focused on sharing knowledge.

We welcome young people for internships and WOOFing. Interested ? Check out our opportunities.

DIRECT SALE

The Jardins des Jeunes direct sales program allows people to discover and support locally grown produce from Bernex, near Geneva. Our garden’s harvest is sold directly on site, creating a connection between the young people who cultivate the land and those who want to buy local products.

This initiative helps highlight the work done in the garden, promotes local organic farming, and allows us to share the harvest with residents of the Geneva region. Buying directly from the Jardins des Jeunes also means supporting a project that brings together youth, nature, biodiversity, and local food.

Check out our products. We also sell our produce right here on the farm.
