Workshops | BEEKEEPING WORKSHOPS

Summer harvest and varroa treatment:

Join the beekeeper in harvesting the last batch of honey of the year from the two hives.

You will retrieve the spring honeycombs from the hive and extract the honey from them with the beekeeper.

You'll learn all the ins and outs of the honey extraction process.

We will then proceed with the varroa treatment, which we have chosen to carry out by caging the queens for 24 days. This is a technique used by beekeepers to better protect the queens from these predators and the treatment itself.

This workshop is led by Cédric Périllat, a beekeeper, founder of Printemps Abeilles, and an enthusiast of these exceptional pollinators of our gardens and orchards.
