Workshops | LES OISEAUX DES JDJ WORKSHOPS

In this first workshop, we'll learn to identify the passerines in our neighborhoods—the ones that fly close to us and the ones that feed on the ground.

We’ll listen to their songs and discover whether they’re flute-like, beady, shrill, or even whinnying, as well as the melody unique to each species of bird.

Pigeons, turtledoves, great tits, and blue tits—to name just these two types of tits—as well as robins and many other passerines may become more familiar to us, and we will then be able to recognize them by their songs and appearance.

There will be field observations in the garden, photo displays, and the opportunity to listen to recordings!

This workshop is led by Hélène Carreras, who was trained at BirdLife and will share her passion for birds with us.
